Advisory Committee

The Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee plays a crucial role in providing strategic guidance, expert advice, and support to ensure the Foundation’s mission is successfully achieved. They assess and offer recommendations on funding disbursements and act as liaisons between the Tower Family Foundation and its applicants.


Dan McVaugh is a wireless telecom industry veteran who began his career as a radio frequency engineer in the early 90s and has worked in various roles since.  Currently working as an advisor, independent consultant and developer of telecom infrastructure projects, Dan taps into his various engineering and leadership roles and his entrepreneurial experience to advise clients on business, technology, and leadership.

Dan began his career as an RF engineer, manager, and director for various wireless service providers, including Sprint and US West Wireless.  Dan later co-founded ATECS, a professional services firm.  ATECS grew to offer all aspects of professional services, designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks including RF engineering, site acquisition, A&E, and project management.  ATECS later rebranded as Centerline Solutions and grew to a full-turnkey professional and construction services firm.  With 9 offices in 8 states, Centerline Solutions designed, built, modified, and maintained networks for every major wireless service provider in the US and numerous other wireless network operators.

After 17 years leading ATECS/Centerline, Dan stepped away and started his consulting practice and continues to independently develop various telecommunications infrastructure projects.  In addition to serving on the board for the Tower Family Foundation, he also has served 4 years as the president of the Colorado Wireless Association (COWA), and currently serves as the education chair for COWA.  You can also keep up with his thoughts on wireless technology and industry topics through his podcast, “5G Guys”.

Todd Schlekeway serves as the NATE President & CEO. He works in unison with the Chair, Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer to provide leadership, vision and direction for the Association. Prior to joining NATE, Todd served in the South Dakota Legislature and also worked for seven years as the founder and principal of a public affairs and communications firm.

Victor Drouin has served on the Tower Industry Family Support Charitable Foundation since its inception in 2014. He is the President of Green Mountain Communications, Inc., located in Pembroke, New Hampshire. He began his telecommunications career in 1981 and has owned and operated Green Mountain for over 32 years. Green Mountain’s experienced team has been assessing the challenges faced by businesses and delivering communication solutions that integrate the most advanced technologies. They currently employ approximately 70 industry professionals and primarily service the Northeast Region.

Jon Eastman serves as the President of VIKOR Teleconstruction and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a leader to VIKOR. He received his B.A. and MBA degrees from the University of Sioux Falls and as well as a MA of Leadership degree from Lindenwood University where he is also currently finishing his Doctorate.

Prior to working for VIKOR, Jon coached football at the college level for 9 years and was instrumental in helping his teams develop brotherhood, cultural strength, winning, and championships.  Throughout his career as a college athlete, coach, and executive, he has helped bring his teams to the next level. Jon has a personal passion for people, organizational and corporate development and has been a positive impact on some of the recent growth of VIKOR.

Rick Flynt is the Founder and President of RAKM Tower Rescue in Fort Worth, Texas.  RAKM, named after their 4 daughters, Raegan, Abby, Kendall and Mackenzie is a family-owned company, operated by he and his wife, Dee Dee.

Rick started with Voice Stream (now T-Mobile) in 2000 and worked with a Dallas GC for 12 years, before launching RAKM in 2011.  Rick loves to teach climbers the proper way to climb and stay safe while working on telecom sites.  He has a passion that is unmatched, by sharing his knowledge and teaching the importance of safety.

Lee Morreale took the plunge into the wireless industry in 2012 after a long successful career in finance. Lee has excelled quickly through his numerous roles within the industry. He thrives at cultivating relationships with end-users in the full wireless infrastructure eco-system including tier 1 carriers, rural carriers, OEMs, turf vendors, and general contractors. Lee has worked at trade shows and state association events developing business nationally while managing teams working on inside sales, outside sales, and marketing. Lee is currently employed at CommScope, an Amphenol Company, as a Senior Sales Manager.

Lee lives in New Jersey with his wife Estee and their three children. In his free time, Lee is active in local charities, enjoys trying to play guitar, records his podcast Two Idiots and an Expert, and yells at the TV when the New York Rangers are playing.

Craig Lekutis began his career in journalism and, after a newspaper chain acquired the two weekly publications he founded, transitioned into the wireless infrastructure industry with Ellis Tower Company in 1984. He also served as a founding director of NATE when it was founded in 1995.

Following his tenure as American Tower’s National Director of Contractor Development, he launched WirelessEstimator.com in 2004, now a widely respected news and information platform dedicated to advancing contractor interests and promoting workplace safety. He also served as a Director and Secretary/Treasurer of the Tower Family Foundation and currently sits on the foundation’s Advisory Committee.

His all-time favorite proverb is Maya Angelou’s: “I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.”
