Tower Family Foundation Announces Advisory Committee Appointments


Jon Eastman, Dr. Bridgette Hester, and Chris Pleibel Appointed to Serve on Non-Profit Organization’s Advisory Committee

(Watertown, SD) – The Tower Family Foundation announced today three leadership appointments to serve the non-profit organization. Jon Eastman, President of VIKOR, Dr. Bridgette Hester, Adjunct Professor and Researcher, and Chris Pleibel, Vice President at PerfectVision Manufacturing, have been appointed to serve on the Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee.

In their roles as members of the Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee, Eastman, Hester, and Pleibel will be tasked with promotion of the organization, assist in evaluating applications, and rewarding financial assistance and scholarships in the aftermath of industry accidents and fatalities.

“We are excited to add the talents of Jon, Bridgette, and Chris to the Tower Family Foundation’s leadership team,” said Board of Directors member and Advisory Committee Chairman Kenny Blakeslee from Apex Site Solutions. “These leaders have a heart of gold and embody the values of servant leadership, integrity and transparency that are the bedrock principles of what the organization was founded on. They will be tremendous advocates for the foundation out in the marketplace,” added Blakeslee.

The Tower Family Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance and scholarships to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on-the-job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis.

Biographies

Jon Eastman

Jon Eastman serves as the President of VIKOR Teleconstruction and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a leader to VIKOR. He received his B.A. and MBA degrees from the University of Sioux Falls and an MA of Leadership degree from Lindenwood University where he is also finishing his Doctorate.

Prior to working for VIKOR, Jon coached football at the college level for nine years and was instrumental in helping his teams develop brotherhood, cultural strength, winning, and championships. Throughout his career as a college athlete, coach, and executive, he has helped bring his teams to the next level. Jon has a personal passion for people, organizational and corporate development and has been a positive impact on some of the recent growth of VIKOR.

Dr. Bridgette Hester

Dr. Bridgette Hester is a full-time Doctoral Adjunct and researcher by trade; her area of research is telecommunication construction. Dr. Hester was the President of Hubble Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to workers at elevation, specifically telecommunication workers.

Through the Foundation, her work with the organization included interactions with board members, families of the fallen, injured and actively working telecommunication workers, and non-profit supporters. Her comprehensive experience acquired through her position as a researcher and her time as president of Hubble Foundation includes data collection, auditing, research, and analysis, all of which will be an added benefit to the Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee.

Chris Pleibel

Chris Pleibel is a Vice President at PerfectVision Manufacturing. Chris and his team are a leading distributor and manufacturer supporting wireless infrastructure construction. Prior to PerfectVision, Chris led the growth of Primus Electronics. He has held sales roles at Andrew Corporation, Summit Manufacturing and MTS Wireless Components.

Since graduating from Kutztown University in 1991, Chris has focused on both professional, educational, and social growth. His professional development and leadership skills started early from a strong family upbringing, Student Government roles, Eagle Scout, and Captain of high school teams. He has been the President of the Pennsylvania Wireless Association for the past seven years. Mr. Pleibel helped and directed efforts to support Penn State’s Children’s Hospital, resulting in over $650,000 in charitable giving. He has produced numerous conferences and networking events that display thorough leadership in the Wireless Infrastructure field.

About Tower Family Foundation

The Tower Industry Family Support Charitable Foundation has been established to help provide financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on the job-related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis. The intent of the donation is to provide a funding “bridge” to the affected families to help pay for immediate needs and help defray other related costs that families experience in a post-accident or fatality situation.
